Gourmet In Gundy!

Wow what an adventure Gourmet in Gundy was! Up at three was fun (LOL) Had a little misshap when i got there, YUP ran outta fuel. I nearly always tend to have these little hiccups =)

So it was a fantastic day, nice weather and the breeze carried the smell of so many delcious foods. I was out there by myself and got hammered! I was busy the whole time. Was afraid to have a drink, cause there was no way i could go to the loo, and i bought a yummy rib fillet burger and it took me over an hour to get to eat it.

We also got a massive plug on the Gundy radio station, did anyone here it? They kinda put me on the spot a bit, but it was great!

Saturday! Allora Spring Fair!

On Saturday I took our Van for its first little adventure to ALLORA SPRING FAIR!!! Allora is approx 30- 45min from Toowoomba, and a friendly peaceful little town. The spring fair was to raise funds for the Allora School. And as you all know when it comes to helping people raise much needed funds we are always to keen to help.

When i got to Allora Saturday morning I even managed to GET BOGGED at the WRONG end of the show grounds, so that was a bit of a laugh.

So here was my stall for the day, set up in the cow stable... i dunno is that what they are called?

Hannah's Foundation

I wanted to share with you all today that we have jumped onboard with Hannah's Foundation, To help bring awareness and prevention in young kids drowning. Also to Help support the families that such tragities happen to.

We are helping this foundation in a few ways. We are helping members of the foundation with fundraising for the month of October. They will be using our fudge in drives to help raise funds to go towards the foundation, as well as selling it at sausage sizzle stall ect. Also for the WHOLE MONTH of October we will be donating $1 from every single packet of fudge sold in our shop. We will also have a Donation box in our shop if members of the public would like to make a personal contribution.

Here is a little bit about Hannah's foundation off their website:

Hannah's Foundation has been set up to honour the memory of our beautiful daughter, Hannah Isabella Alyson Grace Plint who tragically drowned on 4 October 2007. Hannah's Foundation provides a support network for families and friends of those who have lost there loved ones through drowning. This is the only registered charitable institution in Australia for drowning prevention, awareness and family support.
